Netomnia and City Fibre have joined forces bringing more choice to Chatteris.

I must admit to being surprised that City Fibre were installing their own infrastructure, piggy- backed onto Netomnia’s backbone due to the wide coverage of other competitors, such as:

• BT Openreach
• Virgin Media
• Netomnia / Youfibre

It too early to see the exact scope of City Fibres installation works, certainly areas like ‘The Elms’ need looking at due to direct buried phone service cables, rather than ducted or overhead.

Not sure how much room will be left at the top of this pole in Wood Street after City Fibre have fitted there kit.
